Standing on the southeastern coast of Australia, the city of Sydney is famous all over the world for its stunning opera house and harbour bridge. Sydney is a sprawling city and is divided into a number of notable districts and communities, each of which offer their own character and attractions.

Located in the very centre of Sydney, Circular Quay and The Rocks are particularly popular tourist locations, known for their cobbled streets, lively restaurants and historical structures. Nearby, the vibrant Darling Harbour is worthy of a visit, together with the trendy Darlinghurst district and Sydney's Chinatown, which is known for its colourful architecture and authentic Vietnamese restaurants.

Sydney's bustling Central Business District (CBD) features a number of pedestrianised streets, which make much of this area easy to walk around. Just a short distance from the heart of this area lie the Sydney Botanical Gardens and Hyde Park, both of which offer important green spaces in the city centre, being popular with both locals and tourists. On the eastern side of Sydney, the famous Bondi Beach is always worthy of a visit, together with nearby Coogee Beach.
